Keil House DrawingsAurora, OregonThis project had the good fortune to have been documented in the 1930's by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS). In 2006 the only kitchen for the house was still in the basement, a typical condition for a house of its type. The new cottage now features a Great Room with modern kitchen, as well as a solarium, media area, powder room, and interior stair to the garage below. The cottage's interior derives much of its character from the spare but noble proportions of the original house.
